This. For this purpose I find Destiny Public Events - Timer and Map very useful. I think its about 4 minutes behind (in my experience) but it helps get me materials.

I'm up to level 24 and hoping I can get in on some clan activity soon!

You can get 2 ascendant materials every day by completing the daily missions at level 28.

It can also be Ascendent energy, which seems to be what I get most from daily's

What I did recently to get to 29 was burn my Vanguard points on armor and dismantle them. Got me right over the edge of 28 and still don't have my chest armor fully upgraded, but I am a 29 now.

Is there any efficient way to invite the clan for stuff? For instance, I would love to try my first weekly heroic strike between now and tonight. Anyone game for that?

I'm overwhelmed by my very good fortune yesterday. First, I reached Warlock level 29. Then after playing a strike, I was rewarded with the MIDA Multi-Tool exotic scout rifle, the exotic weapon I've wanted since I started playing Destiny. Then when I went to the Tower to claim my rewards for 2 completed bounties, I received my 5th Vanguard Mentor Missive, which completed my set of exotic weapon bounties (Bad Juju, Invective, Thorn, Super Good Advice, and Pocket Infinity). Wow, all that in just one day!

I have joined the clan but don't seem to see anyone online. Would really like to do a strike and raid with only clan members. D1ABLO 360 on xbox one. Warlock Lev 29, just need raid gloves to get 30..or rank up my raid helmet and get exotic gloves. On most nights for at least an hour, plenty of time to do a raid.

Xur finally added the MIDA Multi-Tool to his inventory. You can buy it from him now for 23 strange coins. Good thing I got it for free because that is a lot of coins.

This reminded me of when Xur was selling the Red Death exotic pulse rifle and I didn't buy it. Then a few days later, I got the Red Death for free from an engram.

It looks like the latest game update has modified the Winter's Run strike such that you could no longer take cover under the metal platform when fighting Aksor (the Archon priest). The entrance to that area now has an invisible wall. I had to find another safe place when I played this strike solo.

When I played Destiny yesterday, I noticed something different. There were Hive warriors in places where they didn't use to be, such as in The Divide and in The Steppes. Then after I killed the Hive knight, I picked up his sword and used it to kill everyone else.

Just started it last night and I am really enjoying the gameplay. The story is lacking for me, but that doesn't matter much if I can play with others!
Hopefully I can find a few to play with, otherwise I may push through the story and sell it.

I just purchased my first Expansion pass ever... This being the first DLC i've bought in probably 4 years. Even tho i hate how xboners are getting screwed with the expansions, I'm having too much fun to not have more content. I have to level up my Ice Breaker .

Fully upgraded my ghallajorn , now working on my vex mythoclast which is awesome. Still need raid or exotic gloves to get to 30. Some of the tweaks are good and I've had to farm stuff a lot less.

I just got the stronger version of the Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher from a legendary engram I received as reward from a strike. This version has a starting attack level of 302, and will upgrade up to level 331. Wow!

I heard that we'll be able to upgrade our existing exotic gear to their stronger counterparts by buying exotic upgrades from Xur. Unfortunately, this would also reset the exotic item back to its starting level. So you might want to avoid leveling up your exotic gear until you're able to buy the corresponding upgrade from Xur.

Hit level 31 over the weekend, now need to do crota raid to get level 32 gear. Anyone game?

I finally got to do the Crota's End raid last Saturday. I just went to the Tower and someone there invited me.

I got my first piece of raid armor (Deathsinger's Mantle) right after I killed the ogre in the Bridge section of the raid.

In the Summoning Crystal section, we all kept dying. Then after many attempts, we finally killed Ir Yut. But everyone except me died in the process. So everyone relied on me to stay alive and kill all the hallowed knights to trigger the next save point. They told me where the enemies were as I killed the enemies one by one. When I killed the last one, my teammates all came back to life. It felt really good to be the hero.

Finally, we were fighting with Crota himself. It was really difficult. We tried and failed so many times that the team just decided to quit. So now I have the save point for that final battle and I'm looking for players who will fight Crota with me.

I finally completed the Crota's End raid. My reward was a Swordbreaker shotgun. I wanted the scout rifle but the shotgun is not bad. Other people said it's the best shotgun in the game. I even saw a guy on YouTube use it to solo Crota's End without dying.
