Hi guys, did you noticed such a feature of the power button - mine is now rocking side to side as a volume rocker on a smartphone ?! If I do not press it at the center of the button its edge sinks until it gets flush with the band and it does nothing. I do not remember it being like this when it was (more) brand new. I got mine on the release day, so this make the band two weeks old. And yeah - I do not press the button more than 10-15 times a day , except the first day when I may have press it 50-100 times

I'm start being concerned how far this may go - will the button fall off in few months :straight: Probably the rubber which makes the power button water resistant is already gone. And we already know that some soft and scratchable plastic is one of the used material in the band ...

Is this happening only to my band or you guys are having the same experience? I still like the band ...

I saw the weak power button, the glossy plastic, the soft screen, and even a slight bubble in the rubber bands when I tried the Bands out at the MS store. I paid $19 for Microsoft Complete for this reason.

Mine is all fine. If they've tested these like their other hardware a robot has pressed the button 100,000 times to see what the average failure point is.

Microsoft hardware division tests well. Which is why that screen made of plastic that scratches was a surprise.

different, yet similar.
My Lumia's power button has acted the same way, yet its still in the zone of normalcy IMO and hasn't let me down in the year I've had it, despite not feeling the most sturdy.
This is anecdotal, so know that.

Mine is still good (knock on wood). But I think the warranty is one year even without Complete.
Warranty is 1yr, Complete covers accidentals which the warranty doesn't.

I can toss my Band in the toilet before the Complete expires in 13 months and MS will exchange it with a new one. Hopefully, they'll have updated Bands by then.

Yeah, I knew MS giving away screen savers was suspicious. A trade in offer would be great.

I still love my device and have yet to go a day without it on my wrist.

I love seeing how my diet, supplement intake, and exercise affect my sleep.
