If you look at the render and scale it to be 136mm (I think that's it, the FCC leaked size) high and then measure the diagonal distance of the screen you will get 127mm (5.01 inches)... they fit quite a lot of screen onto this phone

The internal hardware (assuming it is the snapdragon 800) is going to be significantly more powerful than the 1020.
The camera at 20mpx wont be as good.
1080p screen most likely as well. But the 1020 would technically support it with GDR3 (not sure if it would actually get 'upgraded' to it though)

Those would be the major differences.

Wonder if it will have microSD

Yea, same here... Also, FM radio ? I know the posts on the 928 that drove people nuts on the MicroSD(sorry about that) but, a 64gb option or 32gb and MicroSD slot with fit my needs for the perfect amount of storage (95% of my music and tons of podcasts on a 128gb SDXC card)...Yep still dreaming for this one... as long as the issues with SD cards are fixed for good (dup music, etc).

I wonder how the exact size compared to the 928....Is it a lot larger or is just a little larger with a bigger screen (less black trim around the sides).

I look forward to the final specs on this, As I might upgrade but, I also want to see what HTC comes up with for GDR3 models....

With the unofficial price at $500.00 off contract, i'm wondering if it's not going to come with the quadcore, snapdragon 800 specs we were hoping for. Hope to get some more spec leaks soon.

I agree. That price point almost guarantees that this will be a mid-range phone.

Well, I don't think it'll be mid-range. Keep in mind that 5 months ago the 928, which is an iteration of the year old 920, launched on VZW at $500. Interestingly, the 920 launched in November of 2012 at $450 without the xenon flash.

It's quite possible that Nokia/VZW are able to sell updated high end tech at $500 (without xenon flash) 5 months later from when the 928 launched.

Nokia could also be selling these close to cost in order to get more of them out the door. Plus Nokia really doesn't care if this division loses money now since it will be Microsoft's problem next year!
