The Windows 10 "I'm Installing" Thread

I finally decided on upgrading from W7 to W10 but it just won't install. I did get the Windows update screen showing W10 was downloading but after it finished the download, my laptop rebooted out off it's own but nothing's changed. It's still running W7. And yes, it's a legal version of W7 professional, Windows update is set on auto before starting the download and I even kept an eye on it until way passed the hour auto updates are scheduled. And Windows update did confirm my laptop is 100% compatible.
Any idea's on what could be wrong? Or is it normal that it doesn't install the same day and do I only need to be a bit patient?
