If you are sick to death of the screen going dark on you while you make a call here is no_sleep to keep it on. I have my screen set to auto lock so this one is especially important to me.

Yes, one like that would be great but this one doesn't work. :( It does like the Tilt one did and it's all scunched up so you can't do anyting with it. Does it have something to do with the screen being VGA? I apprecitate the help.

Yes it is because the screen is VGA,,,,,, I have a ton of accounting homework today and then after that .......

Well is does one of these work for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406418

This one looks good http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42150

I'll be out of town all weekend but I'll take a hard look at this after that. I think I would like to go back to that also. I liked it on my 6800... TF3D sux! I use to really like the cube on my Touch.... Well its all better than TF3D! I love touch flo but the silly 3D launcher is an obstacle with only aesthetic benefits..

James, thanks great stuff. Haven't gotten to fully try those yet since I was wondering if they don't work are they going to be something I can get rid of without wiping the whole phone and started over. New question, remember somebody talking about battery life (mine sucks) and they said something about turning off all the apps that go the internet automatically. I've tried to find them all but it keeps doing it and killing my battery. Like it goes to the internet after almost every incoming call, why? What is it?

Thanks again for all the help.

Yes those applications can be removed and return the device to the state it was in before their install without wiping the device.

I feel your pain. I was plagued with lousy battery life with the stock ROM and with the pretty custom ROMs from xda. I get excellent battery life now with a custom ROM from NATF http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469450

The developers will often warn when their roms cause shorter battery life http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=511146&highlight=ferrari

My issue with the stock rom is that the gps connection was would cause a battery drain all day. Witht the NATF rom I now use google latitude with keeps my gps connection but doesn't drain the battery. I had to remove IM though because IM uses a lot of juice.

Sorry I wasn't aware of this reply. I'll keep a closer eye on this forum. It has slowed to a crawl so I haven't checked it much lately. I'll set up email alerts to the forum.

Another great modification for your fuze. Enlarge the typing area in text messages. Its crazy that the typing area is a line and a half. I know only 160 charectors are allowed but why are only 40 viewable at a time? TRhis trick allow you to view your whole message in one screen while typing and before sending If you are using windows mobile 6.1 you are probably using Threaded SMS mode for viewing SMS messages as well. Unfortunately though, it only gives the user a few lines big area under the messages, to type in a new SMS.

Thanks to Unreal at pocketnow!

1. Download the attached thread_sms.zip file.
2. .Extract it so you can see the thread_sms.htm file
3. Transfer the file to your /windows directory.
4. Restart your phone.
