Thinking about getting WP8

I really want to like it but since I kind of am stuck on that podcast issue, I'm not sure I can use it. It's too bad too because other than that, I really like the phone. I'll probably just have to create an app that might make it work for me.

Xouw: Here is a link you can use on your existing phone to test drive WP8. Keep in mind this will not be as fluid as the actual device though.

i dont know, i like that its hidden and i can check it by tapping top left to display. its not necessary to see all my signals all the time. but thats me.

The issue with that though is, because the bar dissapears in apps and isn't always there.. the time dissapears with it. I find it incredibly frustrating that I'm in an app and I cannot see the time... so I have to come out, check it, go back in.

If they just introduced the black bar the top, always visible (excluding in games/videos that require full screen) showing everything there would be no issue. It is a phone after all, I like to know if i'm hooked up to wifi or if I have a signal etc...

I cant argue, its a valid point...i don't care to see it but can understand why the general user would. I guess it would be nice if there was an option in setting to leave it all the time (except games) or hide as it is now.
