Thinking of jumping from android to windows phone.

if you're thinking along the lines of how BB has various levels of ringer management, no.

the easiest thing to do, is not set a tone for your e-mails. I don't need my phone ringing every time I get an e-mail. I know I'm going to get some e-mails throughout the day, so I just check my phone every so often.

As far as texts, I leave my tone set for txts, regardless of the time of day, and I work swing-shift. If you get a text in the middle of the night, I would guess it is work-related, so no big deal.

I don't have tone notifications set for FB. Once again, I don't care if someone posts to my wall or accepts a friend request. I'll see it when I see it.
that stinks about the message tones, I would really love to see a phone do this, Android did but then when I got the galaxy nexus they put it to where the notification and ring tone sounds are controlled at the same time, so I sent that phone back...I have a iphone now and would love to try windows phone 7 but only if I can do a bedside mode hassle free (I know I know I am lazy but some nights I just forget to go to my phone and change notification to silent and I get woken up in the middle of the night)

Here is another question. As of now, I have a little bit of music on my sd card and most of it in the cloud at Google Music. I can easily get it off the cloud, but what about the sd card style?

Does WP7 have an online locker for music to stream? Can the Trophy be accessed as a mass storage device?

Thanks for all the help. So if I understood I can't download the podcasts from the at&t network? (that is what I currently do with my sgs2).

You can't download the entire podcast over the network (at least I can't on Verizon, it says it is too big to download), but you can stream podcasts over the network.

How about a video.... Can it be published to YouTube?

There are ways of doing it, yes. The built in uploads are skydrive, facebook & email. Luckily I think there is at least one youtube client which allows uploads, but Youtube itself has a quick workaround which allow you to send videos to an email address specific to your account for instant uploads.

Go here and sign in to get your useraccount specific upload address.

Yes to your first question. You can stream from Skydrive (and a fair number of other sites, actually)

No to your second. No mass storage. Which would be nice.
