Thoughts about the Project Spark Beta

Oh, sorry if I gave you false hopes! I got to excited so I just read half of the article before posting  I guess we'll just save this thread until it gets available then

What about availability? It is still available only in Kazakhstan? Anyway I don't know why I am excited since I haven't got my beta key yet. I think I applied right after sign up page went live.

Has someone got a key yet? I can see on their FB that they have started sending them out

I just got my key! I'll try it out tomorrow, but I'm not sure if the integrated gpu un my i5 4670K will handle it... I have a AMD r9 270X coming in a week, so if it doesn't work I just have to wait one week :excited:

Same here, finally. On my Core i5 with Intel HD 3000 it is playable on medium settings but it could definitely have more FPS. Options Project Spark offers are incredible. I just played tetris-like game and there are also 2D platformers and more.

I have tried it now, and it looks really promising and fun!

I got the e-mail last night, but have been spending the day reinstalling stuff on my PC (OS included). I just got the beta installed a couple of hours ago maybe, and I'm still installing games on Steam, so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

Yeah also just received my beta key. Downloading it right now, although I'm not sure how I'll find solid time to be able to test it out ;) Looking forward to it though, it looks good.

I've been trying out for a bit and I'm surprisingly really enjoying it so far. The adventure game caught me by surprise, i honestly didn't think it would be that good at all. It is decent fun the way you can create things on the fly. I get some frame drops in combat though, but I guess this will improve over time with some optimizations. The game seems to be a tad dark for me and I can't seem to find the option to adjust brightness, so hopefully they add that in (assuming it's not hidden somewhere I couldn't find it).

The create a world mode is fantastic. The tutorial was quick, concise and easy to follow. The way you can program the way things act is really cool yet simple. I'm really looking forward to experimenting with it and seeing what crazy things I can come up with. Not to mention the nice array of customizing and props available to use.

Only real issue I've found is enemy AI sometimes get stuck in/on objects and terrain. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the final product will look like. This game has got a ton of potential.

I just barely tried it yesterday. I only was able to spend about 15 minutes with it.

It seems pretty cool so far. I look forward to playing with it when I have more time.

Anyone having stuttering in the menu's and occasionally in game after the last update?
