Thoughts on multiple eco systems

So our WP7 phones record in .wmv? I thought they did MP4? So this is what I want to be able to do. I want to use my 920 to take my photos and video but be able to edit or manipulate them on the iPad. I would like it if I could send them to the iPad wirelessly so that I do not have to always rely on a desktop for a sync.

Pictures shouldn't be too big a hassle. The Skydrive app will allow you to download photos straight into the Photos app, and you can edit from there or open them in a different editing app. Movies could be difficult though because of the format differences.

I'm pretty sure Windows Phones record video on .mp4. Can someone confirm this?

I use an iPad for my tablet, a Lumia 900 for my phone, I don't have too many issues because a lot of what i do doesn't cross over between platforms. The only thing I really wish that did would be my music service with Zune but that appears to be changing with XBox music. I hope the cloud music player will be multi platform as I do not see myself buying a Windows 8 Tablet anytime soon.

It is a great tablet for the money - in the same way that a 99p McD's hamburger is a great hamburger at that price.

that was my point, it is great for the money...

can you spend more and get a better tablet absolutely! would i buy a nexus 7 over an ipad mini? absolutely not... considering the cost difference it is better to spend a little more and buy something better.

the mcdouble is an amazing burger for 99cents... but i would rather spend 6 bucks and get one from red robin!

try media monkey... i was floored when i found out i could sync my wifes iphone with it... and if it will sync and iphone, it should sync a windows phone
