Thud when shook?

Hmmm, I started shaking my phone again. I was able to hear the thud you are talking about now. It is definitely different than the camera spring noise. Maybe that is why my battery takes so long to charge. I had it plugged in for thirty minutes and only got a 10% increase after starting at 37%. I will probably take my black one back to the AT&T store next Friday. Hopefully they will have more colors in to choose from, they just had black when I got mine on Friday.

OK Guys I have found out where this 'thud' comes from. I exchanged my phone (which didn't make the thud) for another one because of some other issues. But now this one makes the thud noise. So I decided to take one for the team and take it apart.

The battery is a little loose and moves when you shake it. I am also suspicious that this is causing our vibration issue. I'm going to try and secure it down to see if it helps.

Partial success. I got the battery stabilized and no more thud when shook, but the awful vibration noise is still there. All I did was put a real thin piece of paper to the side of the battery.

Went back to att. None of theirs did this. It will happen when I gently turn the phone on its side, something is definitely wrong with mine. Too bad nobody has red in stock. I'll have to call att to figure out something.

I am thinking of camera of vibe motor . My 4S vibe motor (I assume) does this. Have had it for over a year with no real issues, so I doubt it is a battery problem (in my case).

I'd like some info on this too asap.. I noticed this in a handset i'm looking to buy in-store here in the UK (today I failed a credit check today- going back tomorrow) but can't confirm if its just that one handset or a trait of the phone. The previous replies seem too varied to come to a conclusion imo. Is it something peculiar to the Lumia 920?! it was definitely a knocking from within the handset upon turning it over etc. Any more thoughts?

great.. They happened to sell the only other White handset in stock while i was there. Guess i can only check again tomorrow in-case i was imagining it FFS! WHY IS THIS!!!
