ticking sound through headphones, posted fixed not working

Hi, every time there is no sound coming through my headphones i hear a horrible ticking sound, I've trued updating to realtek drivers which fixes it but I hear horrible screeches and such sounds just before a play a video or media file, official sp3 drivers gives the ticking. any ideas?

small idea, have you tried playing using a different program like windows media player or groove or vlc etc?

does with everything, i found an ugly solution, keep hey cortana on so the mic is always active. Shame I can't find a cleaner fix though.
