Tile for registered account on phone?

A buddy of mine has a Flash on ATT and configured the phone himself. He wanted to add another Hotmail account. I showed him how to do that and we got the tile pinned to the Start screen.

He then proceeded to try and pin the tile for the primary account he registered the phone to. Lo and behold, there's not a tile for that. We can go into Settings|Email+Accounts and see it listed there, we just can't find a tile for it.
Is it actually his "Me" tile? I'm thinking we are making this more difficult than it should be. Thanks all.

It should be in his App list, along with all the other email accounts on the phone (whatever way he name the account). Tap and hold, select Pin to Start, Done
