I just came across this good app today. Loaded in my 520 it same a htc clock if you have a developer unlocked phone(even app studio account) you can side load it. It update ever minute.

Got it to work with my 520 after I finally found the USB drivers. Win7 64. It's a bin file you have to extract, then go to Device Manager and update. Also had to reinstall .Net Framework and reboot.

It also seems to update the battery status every minute, yea. The weather forecast and timers aren't of much use. I still keep a Weather Channel icon handy. And the weather won't update unless GPS is on. It has a cool Glance-like tile I use to keep the phone awake when plugged in since double tap still doesn't work (developer's preview, ATT)

All you need for this or the developer's preview is your MS email and regular password, after registering at app studio.

Arnold is working on a WP8.1 version. He claims WP8.1 will allow tiles to update EVERY MINUTE rather than every 40 minutes without side-loading. This should cause a proliferation of time tiles and new apps with accurate tile info, FINALLY.
