I've been running CCleaner (CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download) on my Windows 8.1 Surface Pro 2 and desktop and it's recovering a good 5-8 GB of HD space. I recovered 1.5 GB of cached files (15,588) alone from Bing News. 2GB from System - Temporary Files. 1GB of NVIDIA install files.

That's not a lot these days on a TB drive, but at least on the SP2 where I've only got 128GB to start it's a good chunk.

CCleaner is a great utility beyond just recovering space. Been using it for years.

I have just installed it on my tablet and tried the free version. It gave me almost 800MB extra space.
