hi 4um,

is it possible to use an android usb charging cord for my titan? will the droid cord blow out my titan? is it the same voltage or something? will it charge it the same either way?

is a usb charger cord the same everywhere??

Any 5V micro-USB will work. The more amps the better. 500mA is standard and the one that comes with the Titan is 1A.

I have a bunch of chargers, but the one that came with my Titan is the best one. It puts out the most current.

Are you talking about the unit that goes into the outlet or the actual cord? Far as I knew, the cords were all the same. Its just twisted wire inside a rubber shielding. The unit it plugs into at the outlet is the different part. I use my wife's BB charger and cord and it will recharge from 25% to full in about 2 hours.

Does anyone know of a micro-USB car charger that has the cord permanently attached to the part that plugs into the car? I prefer that style for car use.

I have a charger from Rocketfish that is like that kevm14. I believe I picked it up at Best Buy, but I'm not completely sure. I got it for my Focus last November, so my memory is a little fuzzy as to the specifics.

I have an AT&T branded charger with a built-in cord plus an extra USB port for charging a second device.

sure there are many on Amazon that fit that description from many brands. Just got a Samsung one last week and charges any micro USB device. I think I just search dmicro USB car charger

Thanks I'll check those out. Just seemed like I was going to have to get the 12V to USB thing then use a regular USB to micro-USB cable, which I didn't want to do. Good to have options.

I've been using a 2A charger from my HP TouchPad, with no complaints from the phone. I can't tell you how much faster it charges though.
