Its 15 on my truck thermometer. That's real clod for DFW. My nephew in Houston says it 20 there.

It's a whopping 12 here in my part of the metroplex.

it was -17 this morning. It's -15 now.

Here in the UK it's between 3 and 9 degrees Celsius most days. Bit of a weird one, we usually get freezing temperatures this time of year!

We got the winter storm warning replaced by a wind chill warning here.

I had to go to the doctor today for annual women's exam. That's never pleasant, but it was worse today due to cold. I was shaking while wearing only a gown. The doctor was wearing a heavy sweater when she walked in the room. At least the nurse did the blood pressure before I got undressed. I still felt cold from the stethoscope on my arm.

Why did I get on a schedule to have these appointments in January?

My mother in law use to live in northern Minnesota and our current weather is normal for what she would have every winter. Like right now a low -22 and a high of -10 is just normal for northern Minnesota. They keep mentioning International Falls, Minnesota as being one of the coldest spots. I've been to International Falls and if the cold isn't bad enough to scare you away, the stink for the paper processing planets will scare you away. That town stinks like no other town I have ever been to.
