Toggling data on and off

Hey everyone I haven't got my Focus yet, but I was wondering if its capable of toggling data on and off either manual or automatically. I really don't want to use data unless I"m under wifi coverage either at home or in public or in the event of an emergency. The Live tiles that update got me wondering if there would be unnecessary data usage over 3G. Something to consider with these tiered data plans. Thanks in advance.

you can turn it off manually ,

Seting --> Cellular ---> Data Connection on/off
