Totally forgot about this: Just saw one of the original MSFT Surface table-top computers

I never knew these thins existed. Saw one at work last Friday packed away in a closet. The person I was with said it came out in like 2007 and cost around 10k. The picture below is the only one I could find.

i would love to play with one of those, it was problably the first tme i saw Microsoft as an innovative company.

I saw one in the MS store at the Mall of America in ND a few years ago.

My buddy said his dad got a hold of one for his rec room or something. No idea how much he paid, though. It's pretty crazy how big of a turn the surface took. I think once iPad was revealed they probably scrapped the original design and intent.

Surface was just the name of the technology.
It was always meant to be a tabletop demo, and then use the tech in other places.
