After spending a few hours working on repairing my cracked HTC 8x screen. I turned my phone on to see an LCD screen working beautifully... then I tried to touch it. There is something off about the touch input. Do I need to calibrate the screen or something? It will work, but at a delay or receive input in the completely wrong spot. Is there any advice? The place I bought the part from said it was fully tested and guaranteed to work.

And yes, I tried hard resetting it. No help.

I never saw a calibration option in a wp. Most probably its a hardware incompatibility or fault. Ask the place to fix it for you.
