Touch sensitivity!

Hey everybody! Does the touch settings make any difference?? I mean you can set it to ether normal or High. But then does it really make any difference in the touch response? And yea, do they impact on your battery in different ways?? Please help!

When you set it to high, touch works even with gloves on your hands.
