TP2 shipping with Manila 2.5 installed?

I'm less than a month away from getting my new TP2 (a US carrier version) and I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the units offered through US carriers this fall will ship with Manila 2.5. If not, is this something we will be able to upgrade to for free through HTC?

It looks like the models shipping so far that I've seen do not have 2.5 on them. But even if HTC doesnt offer this as an upgrade I'm sure you will beable to get it from XDA-Developers

The stock TouchFLO on the Sprint Touch Pro2 is TouchFLO 3D 2.1.38416.1.

It's highly anticipated that this device will get a Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade... wonder if there will be a TouchFLO upgrade at that point.

What are the key improvements with 2.5 and 2.6?

Nah, you just need the HardSPL for your device. The CDMA Touch Pro2s have had this available for a while now thanks to cmonex and the XDA/PPCGeeks crowd.

I use MightyROM but I went back to Manilla 2.1 when I noticed the battery drain was much quicker on the Manilla 2.5 roms that I tried.

2.5 is still a little buggy I am running Malatestas ROM very fast and has a nice version of Touch Flow 2.1 on it.

Never did hear what 2.6 has. I wonder what version Sprint's 6.5 upgrade will use.
