I will start the update now. Any precautions to be taken other than Full Battery charge? or Just start the update?

Just ensure you have a full battery or connect to a charger. Enjoy.

Was running DP and was not able to find the update till today morning.
Downgraded to WP8 and the update begin.
There were two downloads which took almost one hour.

no it won't work

Changing the country/region doesn't work...u wll have to flash ur phone wid the country's firmware to get the update...
