Sure, if it will start at all. Bad things happen, I've seen a guy here on wpc who bricked his 1020 installing DP 8.1 on it.

If he bricked it while updating to 8.1, he could just recover it by using Nokia software recovering tool, there was no need to RMA it. If The board was affected, they could hardly access The actual rom

Yeah, buy iphone for 1000$ and you will get updates faster, or buy android, with phone like 820 you won't get any update, so best luck!
Anyway still waiting for update to L1320

820 is due, like all WP8 phones, to get the update. It is just like everyone else... when??

I said phones with android like LUMIA 820 won't get any updates, almost two years in the market, quite poor performance ( for an android) means no updates.
Of course 820 will get cyan

Lumia Cyan officially available in India for Lumia 1520, 925 and 625 although the last two devices were first to get the updates.

Well , for me I would give it a week or less for L1320 .
Vodafone AU .. Just finished the tests and awaiting for the roll out process
I guess L1320 Users and others may get Cyan very soon!!

I downgraded today back to 8.0, to get ready for cyan, just in case it's required to be at 8.0. Boy, even with issues, 8.1 is so much better than 8.0. I'm surprised how much I miss the transparent tiles (and how much better they look).
