Transferred sd card to new phone. Now thumbnails do not match photos. Help!

So I transferred my SD card with photos to a new phone. After the library has updated and cache populated, tapping on a thumbnail brings up a different photo. The photos do not match the thumbnail. Its driving me nuts. Does anyone have a solution please?
