Transferring setup between phones

Currently using a Lumia 800, but moving to the 900 in the next few days - anyone know if there is an easy way to transfer my current setup?

With my old iPhone it simply shifted an image across - is there similar functionality in Zune?

If not, how do I go about it?

You go through and redownload all your apps and set everything up by hand again. :-(

That's a pain... They should sort that out, hardly helpful for keeping people bought into the os...

Keep in mind that unlike iOS, every WP phone is different. Different hardware, different OEM software. Different. So copying an image from one phone to another is not that simple. Like copying the registry from one PC to another (different brand/model, etc.). Even the settings screens on my AT&T Nokia 900 is a bit different than my AT&T Surround.

Sure, you are moving from a Nokia to a Nokia, but that's the exception. Maybe Nokia will create some kind of tool. Many apps can backup to Dropbox or Skydrive. Other than that, it's just loading apps and entering credentials. I have more than 180 apps/games, so I feel your pain. But honestly, the move from my Surround to the L900 was not that bad.
