Treo 700 wx version A Alltel to Verizon

I'm working on my treo, allready bumped it from win moble 5.0 to verizon 6.1,(thanks Nightraven) i'm having a issue, and i have been searching for a answere for it.... i have internet, after 4 days of looking by getting #777 to work, my evdo is there but i think there is a issue that alltel junk is on the rom some where, i'm using a 2nd party service that uses verizon,(unlimited talk and text and 20mb data for cheep...39.99) they told me i have to "get it flashed" for the sms and internet to work, i have been looking for a flash but don't know if it could be done ..... krapit can do it, but it don't work where i work at.... sprint, att, tmoble don't work well either but verizon works good.... so i need some help, i have hard set, soft set, did the roming capabilitys thing, did the provisioning, i edited the #*#DATA setting.... thanks to the members that listed it on a post (i got dial up slow speeds so far) any information will be helpfull

are you wanting it to work on sprint or verizon those and cricket and any other cdma carrier are okay gsm carrriers wont work at all. anything besides verizon as cdma would need to be flashed I would think that alltel would work okay with verizon since vzn bought them.

i'm looking for a stock verizon flash rom, my rom still reads alltel and i can't get updated with vzw stuff.....

Ive got a stock sprint rom - i really want to try a vzw rom - i have my regular phone through them using an ENV2 - sick of it - like the Treo 700wx a friend gave me - then got the run a round at Verizon - they basically told me i cant flash it - that it is illegal - i say they are wrong - i now own the device - ill put pac man from nintendo on it if i want ==== so any luck findind a dumped rom from a verizon treo 700wx? any advice is always welcome ---- please help

I also have a Palm Treo 700wx with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

My SMS works fine and I am sure my internet does... I really don't use it.

What firmware version are you running?

I am running:
TREO 700WX-1.12-ROWEN

Maybe that is the problem?

Also I used NightRaven's 1.3 WM 6.1 ROM, is that also what you used?

Need suggestions on how to flash sprint treo 700wx to make it run on Cell Networks in South Africa. Currently using an AT&T Tre0 750v.
How can I get a copy of the "Getting Started CD". I presently cannot even hotsync either phones with my computer.
Would appreciate any kind of input.
