So, after hearing about the Windows App Studio I decided to give it a try. I would like to be able to develop apps for Win8 mobile with Visual Studio, but I don't have any Win8 computers to work with. I also like trying out some of these alternative programming tools, like the Google App Inventor when I had my droid phone. Anyways, I registered for an account and built a quick little test app. At the end, I received an email with a link to install a Microsoft dev certificate on my phone. When I click the link, it initially shows a key with a Tap to open link, then appears to open it itself because it asks me if I'd like to add a company account for Microsoft. I tap Ok and it takes me back to the key. I check my phone to see if it installed it under Company Apps and see nothing, so I go back. Each time I tap on the key, it asks me about the Microsoft account, I tap Ok, and nothing happens but kicking me back to the key. I even tried saving the AET.aetx file on my SD card and using a couple different file managers to see if any could actually attempt to open it, but no luck. Does anybody else know why it doesn't seem to want to let me install the cert? I'm using a T-Mobile Lumia 521, Amber OS version 8.0.10328.78, if that matters.
