Troubling downloading updates

I upgraded to to Windows 10 mobile a month or so ago and have been enjoying it. That being said, I've had one issue and that's with downloading updates. Ever since the OS update my app updates have just been piling up. On the update screenin the store they all list as pending but nothing actually downloads. I've tried individually using the "download now" but nothing happens. Any help would be much appreciated.

What error is shown? Have to tried cancelling the updates, rebooting and seeing if that helps?

I just tried cancelling the updates and researching for updates and still have the same problem. There is no error message, just nothing happening
