Truecaller app not enabling Caller ID even after Denim Update

Is anyone having issues with Truecaller app not enabling Caller ID even after Denim Update? It still says Cyan is required to enable Caller ID.

TrueCaller works perfectly in my phone which was shipped with Denim, but then this is a different phone. Have you tried restarting or applying a soft reset on your phone?

I actually contacted TruCaller about this and they say that the feature can not be enabled on VZW specifically. Presumable because VZW charges for that as a service. :eck:

I got lumia 930 shipped with denim, but the caller ID doesn't want to be enabled, when I turn it on, it automatically turns off!!!!!
Any suggestions???

What is your mobile service provider? As indicated by Neopassive in post #3, it seems that not all service providers are compatible with the caller ID feature of TrueCaller.

I am in Egypt on vodafone, but that's not the issue because it was working normally on the samsung galaxy 4 and on lumia 1520.
I guess it is something related to lumia denim and not lumia cyan, but am not sure...

I have used the new truecaller app just fine on my Lumia 930 (CV Germany), it works fine.
Then I got a special edition gold Lumia 930 (CV Hong Kong) and I found out that like the same issues you guys have, the caller ID does not stay turned on.
I put my sim (at&t) back in my Lumia 930 (CV Germany) and truecaller caller ID works just fine there, to be sure I even performed a factory reset on my 930 (CV Germany) and it still works, the caller ID stays on.
But when I put my sim back in the 930 (CV Hong Kong), truecaller caller ID does not stay on.
Does this have something to do with the variation in firmware? As I noticed that though both are Lumia Denim they are running slightly different configurations

Do you guys advise I flash the ROM from my first Lumia 930 (CV Germany) onto my Gold 930 (CV Hong Kong)?
Since TrueCaller works fine on that model, if I flash its ROM on my 930 from Hong Kong, it should work right?

I hope this will also help others with same problem.
​In the meantime, I have reached out to truecaller but they said it isn't their problem and has something to do with the Windows Phone OS.

Ok, I flashed my Lumia 930 (CV Hong Kong) with a firmware from the UK CV and truecaller now works fine. Caller ID works fine as well.
So the issue is with Chinese firmware of Lumia 930.
Hope this helps anyone in this situation.

How did you flash the firmware from one to the other? Will this work for Lumia ICON on Verizon?
