The biggest features I am looking forward to are: Smart DJ (love that in Zune on the PC), Live Tiles 2.0, MP3 Ringtones (hopefully), IM Functionality, Voice to Text and TBT Nav!

Biggest features that aren't yet confirmed or are still missing, RGB Picker for OS Color (Tile and accents), Wifi tethering. Bring those two features and there is pretty much nothing else I need to complete my user experience.

Mango, what's in the middle?

I'm loving everything we're being told is included in Mango. I'm a former crackberry user, so I'm looking for a few features that make managing my work email easier.

1. Alerts. I miss my little flashing light that use to alert me to look at my phone. It would be great if WP7 had something up their sleeve to help. Right now I have to choose to look at my phone to know if there is something new.
2. Sound Profiles. It was nice to have different profiles so I could customize alerts and rings depending on the location or situation.
3. Ability to group applications, i.e. the way the Games screen does. I love the simple approach, but my secondary screen is now getting loaded with items. If I could create subfolders there to organize, that would be A1!

Thank you

Video editing would be a nice adition, uploading to facebook and sending thru MMS would be a plus!!
Also having the ability to take screenshots of your screen would be nice.
an "autorotation" toggle would be good as well.
Folders inside of the office hub so that I can organize my diferent files would be great.
and for me THE ABILITY TO HAVE REAL MULTIPLAYER WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

Better alerts and reminders, more options for snooze, voice-to-text and text-to-voice, custom ringtones, way too much to list.

I'm just looking forward to front facing cameras, faster dual core speeds and I just wanna say "I told you so" to all my friends that are still doubting Windows Phone. They're laughing at me now. I keep telling them that this OS is gonna catch up with iPhone & Android. Maybe even surpass it just like those analyst said

Zune Forever!

I'm actually excited to see them improve upon the "Music and Video" section. I love the Zune HD and want to see most if not all those features implemented into the WP. It's the little things that really push it over the edge, like the album art wallpaper on lock screen. These flashy sort of things go a long way in impressing people. Although the Zune HD didn't fair so hot, when people actually see the features, it turns heads. Oh, also excited for turn-by-turn navigation :p

Excited for Mango!

The features I am most excited about are IE9, multi-tasking, custom ringtones, and the deeper integration of the social features.

I would love to see flashing alerts, like I had on my Pre-.

Bring on mango!

From a person who sold his iphone 4 and got a samsung focus, tell your friends that with the Nodo update, it took microsoft to be equally to iOS 3.0, and now with mango it'll be way ahead of any OS out there. What does that tell you... well, that it took microsoft 6 months to do what apple did in three years with iOS3. and in one years time microsoft will do what it will take apple 6 or 7 yrs....

Groups for me is by far the most interesting thing about Mango. It overshadow everything else to me, because it will be by far the most useful.

I have to keep in touch with my work partners so it should be awesome to have their phones accessible easily and possibly just sending a quick message to everyone like "I'm sick, can anyone cover for me?".

The other one is threaded messaging, I'm texting some girl on Facebook chat and she is like I'm going to WLM, the conversation continues there and then she says, I'm gonna turn off the computer and the conversations continues via text? That's some Scy-fi stuff.

Multitasking seems great also etc... but those other two are what stood up the most for me.

2 Things that I desperately want but haven't heard of. Firstly video uploading to YouTube and Facebook. I think this has been mentioned. Secondly changing the defualt search engine in ie9. O2 have it set to Yahoo which is awful. I just want to use Bing consistently through out the phone.

And I'm just generally excited about most of the new features around Bing and Zune. PS if any one from Microsoft is reading please keep the Zune branding.

As strange as it may sound, one of the biggest reasons I got a developer account was so that I could add my own ringtones. Having this ability without having to developer unlock a device will be wonderful. The new Bing features really look great too.

Let's see:
-Multitasking
-Ringtones
-Fast App-switching
-Many more...

My favorite, strangely enough, is the camera remembering your settings. That, and the early access to Mango for developers. Here I come!

Mango is great for developers

There are many aspects of Mango that I relish (a pun, for fans of Indian cuisine) like Groups, Multitasking etc. But I'm going to put my Developer's hat on and look at it from that perspective.

Mango is going to empower developers far beyond what was possible in 7.0. More powerful developers means better, and most importantly, platform defining apps.

What I mean by “platform defining” are apps that lead the way, rather than duplicate what’s available on other platforms.

For example, don’t underestimate just how important multiple Live Tile support is going to be. I’ve heard iOS and Android referred to as “task launchers” and that’s not a bad moniker. The home screen on WP7 Mango will truly be alive with useful, interesting and engageing tiles… and not simply shortcuts. We have Live Tiles now, but nothing like what’s going to be unleashed by Mango.

Another killer feature that leads the way is the tight integration between apps and the OS. For example, searching for a movie can launch results directly into a movie related app (like IMDB). Since so many of the tasks we do begin with a search, that simple idea, creates a tight infrastruture that no other platform currently offers.

Mangos are delicious!

Favorite new feature: Better social network integration and MULTITASKING. I really miss this after leaving my Palm Pre behind, so I can't wait to get it back!

Hopeful feature: Please oh please integrate Skype and integrate online multiplayer between Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360...that would be great!

I especially await the live messaging and multitasking. These will make the windows phones pretty much awesome. Ofc, better Xbox Live integration, IE9 and all the others are cool as well. I just hope they bring it up when it is ready for everybody.

Cheers
