Can't wait!

I'm excited for many reasons but super excited for the hardware that is going to be available with Mango :)

Also multitasking (which is keeping me from diving 100% into WP7) and OTA podcast support as well. But EVERYTHING coming is amazing....can't wait.

I am excited about the "deep integration" and the Bing Vision. I use the people hub quite a bit so having Twitter and Messenger integration and Facebook chat will be a godsend! Also looking forward to real SkyDrive access. I hope they add support for LED notification for SMS/MMS and email. Right now, my HTC arrive has a green LED that blinks if I miss a phone call. I would love to set it so that I can get a blue LED for SMS and purple for email (or any two different colors). Facebook message notification would be nice too.

Go-Man-Go!

Liking the multi tasking and camera setting memory. Also digging enhanced live tiles.

Wish for:
1. Camera preset buttons e.g. Outdoor, indoor, indoor no flash settings.

2. On-screen shutter button for camera. Phone cases can hamper pressing the physical camera button.

3. FLASH. Or at least Silverlight compatibility. Is anybody at home in Redmond? Video streaming is a big draw to users for a smartphone.

4. File management within the phone like File Explorer.

5. Better App List management. A pivot with your own defined categories would be much more organized. A giant alphabetical list could still be on the pivot but we might want to organize things better especially since some app names are counter productive. Is my unit converter app named Converter or Unit Converter?

Love the WP though!

Mango update is going to bring a lot to the plate. 500+ new features is not a joke. I am especially excited about the implementation of HTML5 in IE9, since it all points to less bloatware, along with the hardware acceleration.
At the same time, what I would like Microsoft to do with the update procedure is what it DID NOT do with the nodo. A big update such as this, needs to be streamlined and delivered to the masses without any hiccups. Delivering on the promise is more important than the promise itself.
I am not sure what really MANGO can do without, but I suspect that the abundance of new features might just overwhelm some people. Its not tough to guess why, since not everyone will be using those features, and not everyone will take to a new feature as an addition, rather a painful obstruction.
That said, those people will be few and far between, and certainly not me!
Also, even though this is not strictly MANGO related, I would like to see more apps being developed which is as useful to a guy staying in Australia (me!) as it is to a person in the US. I cant help and feel a bit sad when I run across a beautiful app, and somehow my region constraints make sure that its just not as useful to me as it should be.
Lastly, Mango is a summer fruit, why deliver it in the Fall?!! :(:(
Cant wait!
Cheers from Down under!

The update looks pretty good. I'd like to see tethering myself as well as Bluetooth HID support. With Microsoft Office built in, why be limited by a soft keyboard?

Probably proper Bluetooth support. As a part time developer I have a few ideas based around simple communication between two devices.

Heck, all the new APIs excite me.

I like the multi-tasking. I wish it could act as a USB device when plugged in so that I could just drag and drop files to it. Zune will handle moving media, but there doesn't seem to be a simple way to move documents over unless I use some other application.

The features I'm most looking forward to are Twitter integration, MSN Messenger integration and multitasking. The two features that I would love to see are support for multiple google calendars and the ability to edit/add more APN settings, including those for MMS.

I'm looking forward to:
-podcast subscribing
-app multitasking (mainly just ease of switching between them)
-free turn by turn navigation
-ie9
-The new bing engine
-Can I just say everything

I would like to see:
-a silent ring option
-automatic sound profiles (switch between ringer and vibrate based on calendar events)
-separate ringer and system volumes (get tired of turning down volume in games then missing calls)

Ability to have profiles and auto switch to silent mode based on calendar

It's a small thing, but it makes a big difference in my workday. I have a lot of meetings, with reminders. I used to LOVE the WM profile feature that let the phone automatically go into silent mode when I was in meetings, in other words, integrating the calendar with the ring/silent setup. VERY useful. Wish that would come back in Mango, or whatever comes after...

I really wish there was video sharing/uploading. Even if it was just out of the Zune software....just something.

-remote desktop
-tie Zune to your windows 7 PC for media streaming like you can with media player and two windows 7 pcs

Something small that I forgot to add was the vibration feedback when typing. Its something small but it'd be a great adition to mango... maybe the 501 feature instead of 500 lol. Love the new xbox live integration. I can see myself bothering the heck out of my avatar (like in the new video going around). Multitasking is a plus, love the new conversation threds, and now the diferent color on the conversation in regards to send and recieved messeges. I'd also like to see beter integration with youtube, upload videos and a better app. The custom ringtones is also a great plus, hopefully we can have the ability to have custom ringtones and text tones as well. The ability to see the geo tag of a picture would be good too (like on iOS). I love the fact that were getting visual voicemail, while your at it, throw in there voicemail to text as well!!! ;) Better bluetooth integration (I have a bluetooth radio in my car and I can listen to music, sound from my games, and even make phone calls, but I cant transmit sound from video playback). the actual emoji icons are a nice touch to texting now, and did I mention how cool threds is?!?!?!?!?!?! LMAO OH, love the fact that now I can see facebook calendar within my windows phone calendar too. The addition to twitter is also welcomed!!!!Something I'd like but dont think will be possible is the ability to organize albums on the phone, (create, edit, and delete picture folders from skydrive, msn, and facebook).

As a former webOS'r:

- Can't wait for the cards to come to WP7.
- Email Integration

Would really appreciate being able to have much more control over the file system in general. I want to be able to access files, play them locally, email them, edit them, and generally use them as I would on a laptop, which my phone has almost replaced.

Also, give us screen shot ability. Maybe only 10% will use it but why be stingy with such an easily, fixable issue that would take about 60 seconds to implement?

Lastly, would be nice to see a thriving home-brew community. I ain't paying $99 to unlock my phone and I shouldn't have to for homebrew.

SQL CE should be sweet for development, and I believe Facebook events will finally be integrated directly. Unfortunately, I heard on a video demonstration that secondary calendars on Google and Outlook will still not be displayed, which I'd like to see fixed.

I'm also curious if cameras will have the option to save your last used settings, or if they will still be forgotten no matter what.
