Twitter.com asks me to install their android app on my Windows Phone?

Hi there,

I've Lumia 930 which runs Windows Phone 8.1 Update (official update not PfD). I heard that they enhanced the Internet explorer so I just wanna check it with the twitter.com and got surprised. Have any one of you, got the same response as I got?

Twitter.com asks me to install their android app on my Windows Phone?



I felt crazy and check it may go to Windows Phone Store but it navigate to the Google Play Store! What a pity?

no really, there is a very simple explanation, Microsoft changed how websites see WP devices when they are contacted, making the websites think you are connected from Android and sometimes iOS.

the reason is that many websites don't use IE compatible website design (or what ever the word it), which affects the user experience of WP users with ugly and wrongly presented mobiles websites.
