Two factor apps?

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

For example the YouTubeHD application I have two factor enabled for all Google logins after I use my first login/password I need to get a key out of authenicator which requires me to leave the youtube app however upon return it resets the login box.

The other option is have Google text me a password but once again if I leave the app to read the whole text message I lose the login box.

is there a way to background the app in its current state? sorry if this is a noob question lol.

you'll have to either be fast enough to memorize the code and then switch back to the app, input logins again, and then put in the remembered code.
or i think u can use an app password

So I found another way if you open the other apps then long hold the back key you can move around
