Type cover 2 not working with Surface RT

Ive just got the new type cover 2, and I cannot get the keyboard to work. The trackpad works as it should and I'm not sure if I need to restart to get the keyboard to work, but it is an annoyance. How can I fix this?

I have the same problem, it's supposed to work but I never got it to work, I have Surface Pro too, so use my type cover on there and got a touch cover for my RT. I have read that if you do a complete reset with keyboard attached it MAY install the drivers for it. Jim

Can I download the drivers online?

You need to refresh you surface while the touch/key pad is connected to it, just leave it connected the hold time. It will automatically install the drivers during the refresh.
