Type cover fail

Just went to best buy and purchased the blue type cover as my old one was getting dirty and keys were sticking. Took off old, snapped on the new, and won't work. Shows me errors on drivers and updates them but I get this error and have no idea where to go from here. Any suggestion? screen shot attached. Thank you

Did you try a restart?

Yes. I did a restart. Removed the cover. Restarted again. Did the power and volume restart. tried everything. I think.

Bring it back to best buy and get another one or bring it in with your surface...maybe they know a solution.
