Type emojis from type cover 2?

Hello!

I just got my type cover 2 for my Surface 2 and I love it! I just have a question. Is there any ways to type emojis from the keyboard? There's a key on the virtual keyboard to get to emojis but not on the type cover 2. Which is no big deal, but maybe there's a secret shortcut that I'm missing! If not, I'll stick to the old fashioned emoticons
