U.S. Cellular help

Hey guys, need some help. I want to get a new phone for my girlfriend off-contract. She uses US cellular. I was wondering if US cellular would activate a Lumia 822 I bring in (I believe they are CDMA). Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Only thing I could find is that they are rumored to be releasing a Samsung phone running WP8 possibly sometimes soon.

No, while the phone is unlocked for GSM networks it is not unlocked for CDMA networks. US Cellular uses CDMA - like Verizon.

From what I understand you're limited to networks like AT&T and T-Mobile.. and of course their "sub networks".
