UC Browser, faked reviews and rating?

What's up with this app, it has like the best rating in the store, but it can't work 10 seconds without crashing.. What's the deal with it's rating.

Their last update might have been botched..

It worked great on WP7 and I haven't tested it on my 928 since they launched the last update.

Why doesn't this stupid browser work normal on my L520, update after update, hang after hang, crashes, loads something for a minute etc? And i hear it works fine on L720, which has pretty much the same hardware as L520.

920 lumia here and used uc browser since i got my 920, its been perfect, literally, with no issues, so am amazed, some people have crashing/issues with it, i would like to know, as am sure you guys do, why that is!

Dont even understand why people like this, beyond the new update with download manager. It's just a skinned IE, right? With a couple more features?

I could see Opera or Firefox or something.

Works fine for me on my 928. Weird how it has issues on other phones.

If you want to try another browser give Maxthon a try. When I first got my Kindle Fire the only browser available besides Silk was Maxthon. It allowed me to avoid all the problems that the early versions of Silk had. While Explorer is head and shoulders above Silk, Maxthon gives you a alternative and it works quite well. I use it on my 820 and still use it on my Fire.
