unable to sync my surface pro 3 with my lumia 1020 using the WP app

hey folks i cant find anyone else having this problem but my windows phone app is having issues syncing to my surface pro 3, it just sits there saying "0 of 0" not transferring. Ideas?

I've had this problem and the only way I've been able to fix it is to unplug and reconnect my device. Hope that helps. If not you can manually get the content you want to sync through using Explorer to view your phone's contents and copying what you want to backup to your pc.
