Unable to transfer Video Files to the phone

I'm using Lumia 920, and used the MTP method to transfer files. As that's the only way I can do it, if I connected my phone using USB.
The question is, I've been trying to transfer my video files to my phone but to no avail. I've tried different codec, just like in here

I always set the audio to MP3 during the encoding process. I've changed the video to mp4, xvid, avi. But it always said, not supported file types, when I transferred it. The only format that I can transfer is WMV but the software couldn't render the file properly. So it's not good.

even i got problem like this one time..
but back then the main problem was that while changing the format of the file,i changed it's name,.. so that created an error,.. hope ur' not changing anything except the format\extension
