Unlocked Samsung Focus on Tmobile

Does anyone have a samsung focus working on tmobile? I know 3g doesn't work but I want to know if text/mms work fine with tmobile? Im getting one tomorrow unlocked but I want to know if it works fine before getting it. Thanks a lot for your help!

everything should work except no 3g because the 3g bands on ATT phones are different than the tmobile branded phones.
