Update 1 can't install

Nokia 822 with developer preview cannot install the new update. I guess I just wait to see if it's fixed. Wanted to make sure other 822 users were in the same boat.

I have a 822, and 920. The 822 updated fine, but the 920 got the error message. The 920 is my main phone, while the 822 is just used to test my apps, so it has the bare minimal stuff on it. Don't know if it has to do with that. Some people in the forum previously had problems installing gdr1 flashed their phone back to wp8, and update to gdr1 without any problems. Though I won't recommend it unless you don't care about game saves or just want it really bad.

I couldn't install update 1 without doing a hard reset. So I did a hard reset. Oh well.

I guess I'll just wait it out. What I don't understand is why some folks with 822s can update and some (like me) can't. Looks like if it was an older phone issue no one could update. Makes me think its an app on my phone or something.

I used to get 8019930f update. After reading an article in wmpoweruser.com saying that the problem was fixed, I tried again without success (it was a different type of error, you can see in the picture). I switched off the phone,then turn on, and tried again and I finally updated it. Lumia 925 spain

Same issue, can't install update. As much as I like my Lumia822, I'm thinking my upgrade on the 18th will lead me back to android. HTC One (m8) is the only thing I'll consider as a replacement though, the windows version looks just as beautiful.

Well in another link I'm reminded that it's still a developers preview and I'm admittedly not a developer. I'm still ahead of the game and I'm enjoying what I have of DP. I need to remain patient. I am also eligible for an upgrade but I want to see if my 822 will one day get the final release and continue to be my reliable Nokia Lumia that I've enjoyed since released.

Mine updated too without a problem. But then I've so far never come across any errors on my Lumia 822,...... In updates or other applications and games or anything else. I guess I must be one of those so called lucky bastards.

I haven't heard a thing. The phone keeps reminding me to update but it's the same one that won't work.
