Is there a way to regain photos from a phone that is infinitely crashing while trying to update?
Yesterday my Lumia 930 started an automatic update, to or from version 10.0.14393.448. After a while the screen went black with a white :-( emoticon. A few seconds later it restarted, showed the gears from the update process, but after a few seconds the :-( emoticon again appeared. This process now continues in an infinite loop, meaning that I cannot start/use my phone anymore.
After searching on the internet I found that the most common advice is to do a hard reset, which will wipe the entire disk. As I don't want all my photos sent to a public cloud I disabled the backup to Onedrive. Instead I normally make weekly manual backups to my personal cloud. The last month I have been renovating my new home and made some important pictures of the cabling etc., which I really don't want to loose. Is there any way to regain those pictures? These are worth to me more than my phone is worth, so I'm open to any suggestion.
Thanks in advance!
