Is it safe to update from Nokia recovery tool......i mean phone will not hung up in between or no damage to software will occur....
Please tell is it safe....ASAP

First of all, everything depends on Luck
Make sure your phone have enough charge [i would recommend 100%]
Secondly make sure your PC wont powerdown during Resetting [Laptops or UPS backup]
Do not unplug or anything with phone during process.

I successfully used NSRT on my Lumia 620.

It'll wipe your phone so make sure you backup your data before attempting it
