Update stalled at 0% for 15 minutes and waiting

I answered all the questions to download-now as I have unlimited data and no in-house wifi.

I turned it off, waited five minutes then back on again and got a message, "update was not be downloaded."

Tapped "Check for updates," off it went and then still stuck at 0% again.

Any help with this?

Remove SD card from phone if you have one installed

None in there and cannot possibly see what that would do.

Problem fixed, I left it for another 20-minutes and it was showing, "update can only be downloaded by wifi. Connect to wifi." The morons assumed everyone has wifi.

Talk about useless! I live in the country and had to drive 5-miles to a neighbor who has DSL. Talk about inept programming by Nokia. I have been programming for 35+ years and I know it when I see bad programming and today, I saw it again. We have unlimited high-speed data with the phone, surely they should have an option to allow me elect to use it.

Glad it's done and finally working for you. I have also thought that it might be okay to update on data especially if unlimited data is an available option....
