Hey Guys
So i just got a replacement i5/256 Surface Book a few days ago, and did not see the Anniversary Update popping up in windows update, which I found weird since I got the update almost on the day of release on my old Surface Book.
I was further frustrated over miss out on fx. Cortana functionality here in Denmark, and all the other nice improvements, so I decided to use the Upgrade Adviser to download it manually. But now I feel like this is not an update, rather than a fresh install, or maybe a vanilla installation of Windows 10, rather than the tailored version that is installed by default on the Surface Book. But the only evidence I have of this is that the Surface Logo is gone from the "About" screen in settings, that the pen was not setup properly, and that the battery life seems worse after the upgrade.

So I would like to ask if any of you guys upgraded the same way? Or have you also not received the AU yet? Is your Surface Logo still there? What is your experience in general with the AU?

Cheers guys! :)

I got the anniversary update within a couple of days of its release on my SB -- battery life has been worse ever since, but it actually seems to be the battery life while in USE as opposed to just draining battery while sleeping or hibernating (i5/256/dGPU model). I suppose this is an improvement? :p
