Upgrading from Surface RT to DV8P

OK, I have my Dell Venue 8 Pro. I'm selling my Surface RT. Should I backup my Surface RT, reset it to factory defaults before I turn on the Dell? Or is it ok to go ahead and power up the Dell and get it set up while the Surface is active too?

Setup the Dell before you do anything to your surface. You can have 5 devices on your account, so no biggie having 2 at the same time.

Just power up the Dell.
Upon setup you will have the option to use the rt as a basis or setup as a new one.
I always select new.
You will also have the option to setup the tiles the same but I usually don't have all the same apps installed so I select not to do so.
Refresh the rt before selling for sure of course.

Thanks, I had a coworker coming to get the RT, so I had to reset it before I could finish with the Dell.
