"Upgrading' to 1520

Hello everyone! My Lumia 640 XL died so instead of buying a 950 XL or another 640 XL I decided to "upgrade" to a 1520. Just wanted to stop in and say "hi"!! :excited:

It's white and the first thing I do with it will be to install Windows 10 lol.

Good choice! Some people say that the 950 XL's size just doesn't cut it for them, so they end up choosing the 1520 to get the real full-sized deal!

Welcome to the 1520 club, I was also thinking about the 950 (XL) but didnt like its plasticky build on back, 1520 is superbly built, only thing I miss on the 1520 is no USB OTG support... otherwise its amazing

Just a quick update now that my 1520 is up and running...

This phone is amazing! Fantastic screen and fast as can be!!

Just found out that because it is an AT&T 1520, I dont get QI charging... bummer

Which is surprising considering how many Android variants and whatnot have been modified to do wireless charging.

AT&T had a PMA mod put in the phone. That's what the pogo pins are for on the back. They attach to an Incipio Charging case to use Power Mat charging.

2nd update!

Just set up "Hey Cortana" which my 640 XL didnt have. Awesome feature! I am really loving this phone
