What about connecting headphones to USB via an amp to bypass the internal amp? Is that method supported?

if it won't work in the car, it won't work on your amp with USB input unless it supports mass storage devices.

Basically, if you're expecting to get a digital audio signal from the usb port, it's not going to happen.

Thanks. Although I just noticed my searching methods landed me in the wrong forum. I'm sure it doesn't work on the 920 either, though.
