USB OTG on Windows Phone 8.1/Lumia Black: Anyone tried out yet?

Just a quick question here:
Anyone tried out if USB OTG on WP8.1 works?
The internet is flooded with copies of this tweet...

So, anyone tried out this yet, other than this guy? I have a Lumia 1320 running on WP8.1 on Lumia Black. And I am in need of some extra storage. I have a flash drive that I can pair with my phone using an USB OTG cable but I do not have the cable yet. So, before I get a proper cable, this is all I am asking...

FYI, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 supports USB OTG.

just tested using OTG cable and a USB flash drive. nothing shows up in Files.
doesn't work.

I tried it too, L520 and L920, on both 8.0 latest and 8.1 DP. Nothing shows up, and it does not work.
It IS possible that Nokia will add it as a firmware feature, exclusive to the brand - and it wouldn't be surprising. We will see with the Cyan release.

Has anyone tries it on 730 or 830 which has Lumia Denim? The other day I saw USB setting in the setting menu in 730 on my friend's phone. I didn't check it out though!
